Richard Castrence is a Torrance, California based artist and photographer.

Richard practices the impermanent art of rock balancing and immortalizes his creations with photography. Enjoying the serenity of early mornings or the quiet beauty of sunset at the rocky beaches near his home, he spends many meditative hours balancing the rocks he finds. He is always sure to disassemble the rocks before he leaves ensuring the safety of others.

Richard spends his days as the head of production at a Torrance based television studio. Along with his wife he is the proud parent of their daughter, Violet.
